Welcome to BetterBlog, a service provided by Buyt Sp. z o.o. (LLC registered in Poland). By accessing and using BetterBlog, you agree to comply with the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms and our privacy practices described herein. If you do not agree, you must stop using BetterBlog.
2. Service Description
BetterBlog allows users to create blog posts, receive feedback on quality and relevance to specific keywords, organize posts into projects and folders, and export content to Markdown or HTML. The editing and management of blog content happen within the BetterBlog platform, with no integration into third-party publishing platforms.
3. User Accounts
Users must create an account to access BetterBlog. You are responsible for safeguarding your account information, including your password, and ensuring that only you use your account. Sharing account access with others is prohibited. Failure to comply may result in account suspension or termination.
There are no specific age restrictions; however, users must provide payment details for future paid services, which will be handled by third-party platforms (such as Stripe). No payment information is stored on our servers.
4. Free and Paid Tiers
Currently, BetterBlog offers a free tier that allows:
- Unlimited projects, folders, and blog posts.
- Unlimited exports to HTML or Markdown.
- Basic quality and relevancy evaluation for blog posts.
- In the future, paid tiers may be introduced, and the free tier may be modified. These changes will be communicated to users in advance, and any modifications will require acceptance of new Terms to continue using the service.
5. User Obligations
As a user, you agree to:
- Use BetterBlog solely for lawful purposes.
- Not create, post, or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, or violates intellectual property rights.
- Not share your account with others, especially in the case of paid tiers.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
6. Content Ownership
Users retain full ownership of the content they create on BetterBlog. However, BetterBlog reserves the right to use user-generated content to improve its services, including training machine learning models. Users will be notified before such processing and given the option to opt out.
7. Data and Privacy
BetterBlog stores user data in Firestore (a service managed by Google) in the European region (eur3). We do not store billing information, and all payment transactions will be handled by third-party platforms.
We use Google Analytics to track visits to the BetterBlog website. By using our services, you agree to this data tracking.
We respect your privacy and do not share your data with third-party companies, except for the necessary handling of user data by Google as part of our Firebase hosting.
8. Modifications to the Service
BetterBlog reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or suspend any part of the service at any time. We may also modify these Terms as needed, and users will be notified of significant changes either via email or through in-app notifications. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the service.
9. Termination of Service
You may terminate your account at any time by sending a request to support@betterblog.app.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms.
- You engage in illegal activities using BetterBlog.
- You fail to comply with future payment requirements if paid tiers are introduced.
10. Liability and Warranty Disclaimers
BetterBlog is provided “as is” without any warranties. We do not guarantee that the service will meet your specific needs, be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
We are not liable for:
- Any data loss resulting from using our platform.
- Any lack of success in your personal or commercial ventures, particularly as related to blogging efforts.
- Misuse of the content created on the platform by you or others.
- In no event shall Buyt Sp. z o.o. be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of BetterBlog.
11. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes arising from the use of BetterBlog will be subject to the jurisdiction of Polish courts. However, we strive to resolve disputes amicably; please contact us at support@betterblog.app to discuss any concerns.
12. Final Considerations
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, the remaining provisions will still apply. These Terms represent the entire agreement between you and Buyt Sp. z o.o. regarding the use of BetterBlog.
